Space Sim
This is a prototype I created that focuses on physics based space movement with a simple targeting system and shooting mechanics. The main reason for creating this prototype was to try and get a better grasp of the physics mechanics in UE4, with the added bonus that I have a passion for space and sci-fi.

I designed all of the core game mechanics and systems e.g the physics movement and targeting systems.
UI Design

I created all UI elements and the functionality behind them for this prototype, baring the targeting icon.
Balance System
This is a prototype I made to test out different weapons, being able to customise things like damage, fire rate, accuracy and density with a variety of weapon classes. I primarily created it to try and narrow down what the most relevant telemetry data is when testing 7 creating game mechanics.

This was the first large project I worked on, creating a fully fledged game as opposed to simply a level or small prototype. Through this project I learned a lot about intialisation chains and the correct places to store variables and carry out certain functions. As well as creating a full game loop, a very simple AI system & couch co-op.

For this project I created a supporting design document to help guide the development of the project.
Technical Design
As the sole developer on this project I created all technical systems and assets, form the base tanks and weapons to the game modes and simple AI system.
Level Design
I created 2 levels for the project, one open level for all out warfare between the two players and one more closed off focusing on cover based combat.

I created all UI elements for this project and the functionality behind them.
